The Guide to Raw Foods

The Guide to Raw Foods is my journey to vibrant health for myself and the planet. I use raw foods as a center piece for my health and well-being, but my journey is a reflection of being physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually fit. So you will read my reflections not only about raw foods, but also about meditation, prayer, a positive mindset, exercise, cultivating sexual energy, unconditional love, conscious partnerships and more.

About Me

My photo
Nwenna Kai, The Goddess of Raw Foods
In her early 20's, Nwenna Kai was always sick. She suffered from vertigo, a thyroid disorder, chronic constipation, acne, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, anxiety, sciatica, and migraines. After healing herself with a raw foods diet, herbs, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and prayer, Nwenna Kai turned her passion for holistic and natural eating and living into a business and career that she is committed to for life. Before the age of 30, with no restaurant experience, her home-made recipes, and serving as her own investor, she opened up one of Los Angeles' pioneering raw food restaurants, catering companies, and product lines called Taste of the Goddess Café. She published her first raw foods preparation book, The Goddess of Raw Foods. She's done consulting work with a raw foods restaurant and yoga studio in Australia, and she teaches individuals, communities, and organizations around the world about living a holistic and natural lifestyle through her tele-seminars, onsite classes, speaking engagements, and articles.
